The Roofworks

We are carrying out major roof works to improve safety, comfort, and the long-term quality of your homes. This includes installing a new Langley warm roof system, renewing the ManSafe fall protection system, and reinstating and certifying the lightning protection system. These works will replace the existing roof, resolve water ingress issues, and deliver a safer, warmer, and more resilient home.
This milestone includes
Roof Strip-Out

Once access is in place, the team will begin removing the existing roof covering. This includes carefully disconnecting safety systems and preparing the surface for the new roof.
New Roof Installation
Start May 2026Expected to end June 2026
Once the roof has been stripped back, the team will install a new flat roofing system. This will include new waterproof layers and insulation to improve the building’s durability and weather resistance.
Safety Systems Reinstatement
Start May 2026Expected to end June 2026
Following completion of the main roof works, all safety features will be reinstated. This includes edge protection, the mansafe system used for safe access, and the lightning protection system to ensure the building remains fully compliant and safe.
Final Checks
Start July 2026Expected to end July 2026
The final stage includes a full inspection and sign-off of the completed roof. Residents will be notified in advance before scaffolding is removed. The hoist and temporary power supply will then be taken down, and the site will be cleared, returning the building to its normal appearance.
