The External Works

Status: completed
The team will install scaffolding around the building to allow safe access to the roof. A temporary hoist will also be installed to move materials efficiently to roof level.
This milestone includes
Removal of brickwork for scaffold
Start November 2025Expected to end December 2025
Once access is in place, selected areas of brickwork will be carefully removed to accommodate scaffold tie locations and provide secure fixing points. All works will be carried out to minimise impact on the surrounding façade.
Scaffold installation
Start November 2025Expected to end December 2025
The team will install scaffolding around the building to provide safe access to all external elevations. Temporary site facilities and safety measures will also be established to support the works and minimise disruption to residents.
Remove Scaffold
Start May 2026Expected to end June 2026
The final stage includes inspection of all completed brickwork repairs and making good works. Once approved, the scaffolding and temporary site facilities will be dismantled and removed, and the surrounding areas will be cleared and returned to their normal condition.
Repair of the brickwork
Start May 2026Expected to end June 2026
Following completion of the main external works, affected areas of brickwork will be repaired and reinstated. This will include replacing damaged or removed bricks, repointing mortar joints, and matching the existing appearance of the building as closely as possible.
